1d Simulation Engineer

**Job Purpose**:
**FUNCTION**

Modeling (digital model creation) complete vehicle system (thermal and electrified) under Amesim Simcenter.

Project Management during a specific study related to the virtual dimensioning of a thermal system in relation to the teams (Technical Centers/ Business Units/ OEMs/ etc.).

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:
**MISSIONS**

**MAIN ACTIVITIES**
- Modeling complete vehicle system (thermal and electrified) under Amesim Simcenter.
- Evaluate and digitally validate the components, subsystems and thermal systems through the normalized duty cycles or real duty cycles defined with our customers:

- based on the “experience plan” defined with the Business Units,
- as part of RFI/RFQ.
- Participate in the technical definition of usage cycles / scenarios.
- Creation of Scale Model for HiL approach (hardware in the Loop) and for the execution of VTMS System Bench Testing programs in relation to teams (Technical centers/ Business Units/ OEMs/ etc.).
- Participate in the evaluation and validation of virtual and/or functional prototypes for the Thermal Management Laboratory and others (Proof Of Concept - POC).
- Project management during a specific study related to the virtual dimensioning of a thermal system in relation to the teams (Technical Centers/ Business Units/ OEMs/ etc.).
- Participate in the critical analysis and presentation and visualization of simulation results.

**ORGANIZE**

Execution of sensitivity studies according to the schedule/priorities.

**CONTROL**

Ensure the validity of the results produced by the numerical approach (hypotheses / limit conditions / drift / etc.),

**ANIMATE**

Responsible for the presentation of critical analyses.

**PROFILE**

**I**deally have a training in Thermal/Energy/Mechanical, Bac+5 or PhD.

**Required skills**:

- 0/1D Numerical Modeling (under Amesim Simcenter)
- Thermal, Hydraulic, Thermal and Electrical systems in the Automotive sector
- +3/5 years of experience (**mandatory**)
- Knowledge of the HiL (Hardware-In-the Loop) and Co-simulation approach
- Knowledge of programming / coding for control command under Matlab / Simulink
