The Faculty Administration and Support department at INSEAD is responsible for managing academic operations and supporting faculty members by facilitating course planning and organizing teaching resources. It plays a key role in promoting academic excellence by supporting research initiatives and the professional development of faculty members.

INSEAD is seeking an Associate Director, Faculty Support to join our Faculty Administration and Support Department. This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France or our Asia campus in Singapore. A hybrid working model is in place - 3 days on campus, 2 days from home.

**About the job**

Reporting to the Executive Director, Faculty Administration and Support, you will lead and manage a global team dedicated to delivering high-quality administrative and operational support to faculty members. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective organization, delivery, and continuous improvement of faculty services. By guiding and empowering area managers, you will foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and service.

**Your role within the team**
- Leadership and Management:

- Lead and manage the global faculty support team.
- Ensure the right organisational structure to support faculty services effectively.
- Guide and advise support managers, empowering them to manage their teams efficiently.
- Team Optimization:

- Regularly communicate key information to the support team.
- Optimize team organisation to maintain efficiency and high service levels.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strategic Planning:

- Develop and implement strategies to enhance faculty support services.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align support services with organizational goals.
- Performance Management:

- Monitor and evaluate the performance of support managers and their teams.
- Provide feedback, coaching, and development opportunities to support managers.
- Stakeholder Engagement:

- Act as a liaison between faculty and support staff to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by faculty members.
- Resource Management:

- Manage resources effectively to ensure the support team can meet faculty needs.Oversee budget planning and resource allocation for the support team.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in administrative and team management roles, preferably in an international or academic environment.
- Proven experience in leading and supervising diverse teams across multiple locations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, drive operational excellence, and lead change initiatives.
- Able to challenge your team to continuously innovate and find new ways to meet evolving client needs, balancing service excellence with operational efficiency.
- Proven ability to lead team to deliver high-quality work and meet the organization’s standards of professionalism.
