Sanden International (Europe) GmbH is looking for a **Software Validation Engineer (f/m/d)** in Tinténiac, France in full time. You will be part of our Software Validation department which is developing cutting-edge technologies for electric compressor in the European market. **Purpose of this Job**: Within the Technical Centre Europe organization, you are responsible for validating AUTOSAR software components for Electric Control Units dedicated to our Electric Compressor. You will also contribute to software requirements analysis, definition of the test strategy, elaboration of the test plan and testing.
**Essential responsibilities (including but not limited to)**:
- Scrutinize software specifications, optimizing them for comprehensive and efficient testability.
- Craft a robust test strategy, integrating innovative tool configurations for optimal testing efficiency
- Develop and implement test plans that address all aspects of software requirements, ensuring thorough validation
- Conduct testing and validation processes utilizing the Vector tool chain, particularly CANoe, to ensure software meets the highest standards of performance
- Implement tests with precision, employing advanced tools such as VectorCast for efficient automated testing
- Adhere to and implement A-Spice processes, maintaining compliance with industry standards and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and effectively manage change requests from customers, ensuring a responsive and customer-centric approach
**Other responsibilities**:
- Play an active and collaborative role within an Agile team setup, fostering a dynamic and responsive development environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize HIL activities, ensuring comprehensive software validation in real-world scenarios
**Qualifications** Required experience and education**:
- At least 3 years of experience with embedded software and software validation in the automotive field
- Master’s degree in computer science
**Your Must Haves**:
- Experience with validating and testing of AUTOSAR software components
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnosis (UDS, OBD, etc.)
- Experience with vector tool chain (VectorVCast, VTSuite, etc)
- Proficiency with one or more of the automotive buses (CAN, CAN-FD, FlexRay, LIN, etc.)
- Experience in root cause analysis
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Strong command of verbal and written English, allowing for clear articulation of ideas, concepts, thoughts, and complex information
- Proficient in technical writing, translating complex concepts into clear and concise documentation
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills with teams of different disciplines
- Autonomy to manage technical tasks
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-changing environment
