**Job Title**: French Teacher (Summer Programme)
**Location**: Saint Nicolas School, Corentin Celton Metro, France
**Responsible To**: Programme Coordinator

This is a fixed-term position for the summer period (30th June to 28th July 2025).
You will teach French to students (aged teens to young adults) whose first language is not French. The aim is to enhance their language proficiency and cultural understanding in a fun, practical, and communicative environment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Plan and deliver high-quality French language classes
- Create engaging teaching materials using a blend of course books and original resources
- Use a variety of teaching techniques including role-play, games, dialogues, and group work
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback
- Prepare and administer appropriate assessments
- Encourage cultural immersion and promote communication in French
- Maintain a high level of student engagement and satisfaction
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure a positive student experience

**Essential Qualifications and Experience**
- Degree or relevant teaching qualification in French or Language Education
- Minimum of one year of experience teaching French to non-native speakers
- Experience teaching young learners or teens (preferred)
- TEFL, CELTA, TESOL, or similar language teaching certification (desirable)
- Native or near-native fluency in French
- Good command of English (helpful for communication with learners)
