**Job Description Summary**: Engineering & Tendering is one of the bottlenecks of the service organization.

The new Global Service Engineering/tendering Leader will be responsible of improving both organizations performance.

She/He will be partnering with the regional teams to implement process, organization & tools including organizing kaizens, leading technical documentation migration/reorganization, capacity/capability assessment.

She/He will be responsible of escalation resolution in tandem with the regional teams.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Responsible of process excellence on engineering and tendering across the global including driving regional autonomy.
- Ensure that engineering/tendering capacity & capabilities are aligned with future needs by running yearly capacity/capability assessment.
- Define & implement the right strategy to Coordinate deliver training activities for Engineering & Tendering between sites globally working with the various training centers & the technical institute.
- Implement the Services Academy which will ensure proper development of our engineering & FSE across the globe.
- Lead the PLM technical documentation process excellence including (PLM,) document migration across AIS & GIS between product & services into one standard repository.
- Lead Engineering & Tendering decentralization to drive regional autonomy on Maintenance, Parts & Repair.
- Develop KPI & Dashboard to measure performance of TLT (Tendering Lead Time) by Offering / Product / Regions
- Support each region to reduce its Tendering Lead Time by leveraging the lean toolbox.
- Be the focus point for engineering/tendering escalations globally.
- Support Product Management team on NPI LTS and portfolio management
- Own Engineering ticketing system (Service Responviness) tool owner / key user
- Animate/Coordinate global communication between Engineering/tender teams related to obsolescence/product improvement (Service technical Bulletin)

Responsivness Tender Lead time is more reflecting the technical tendering performance

Regional Autonomy Factor for Engineering & Tendering

% Digitized documentation :documentation not really smart as several tentative in the past always stopped considering cost and effort needed. And to my view does not make sense to have a massive digitalization. Criteria such as % of digitalized documentation accessible to all SER engineering and tendering community.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of GS products and portfolio
- Strong knowledge about engineering & service processes
- Strong leadership experience with ability to drive change across GE PT organization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge about PLM & engineering documentation procedures
- Ability to navigate multicultural organizationsorganizations.
- Ability to resolve complex issues within functional areaarea.
- Lean
- Availability to travel
