**Job Description**:
Reporting to the analog characterization manager, you will be part of the 32-bit Microcontroller Validation team, based in Nantes (France).

As an analog characterization engineer, you will be involved in the characterization of the analog blocks embedded in our 32-bit microcontrollers to extract the electrical performances useful for the specification of the product datasheet. You will also contribute to the development of our analog/parametric test infrastructure.

You will work with team members located in Nantes (France), Chandler (Arizona), Bangalore (India) and other company team members around the world.

- Definition of the validation plans for analog blocks to be characterized (ADC, DAC, PLL, OPAMP etc...)- Specify schematic for characterization hardware- Embedded software Development- Automatic test bench development (NI Labview and TestStand)- Debug new products with design teams to identify root cause issues- Analysis of measurement results, correlations with design simulations and writing of characterization reports for each IP- Electrical performance specification of the analog blocks for the product datasheet- Contribute to the overall improvement of methods, quality, and optimization of the validation processes (flow, tools, test infrastructure)

Requirements/Qualifications:
Qualifications and Experience- MSEE/MSCE from an accredited engineering school

Competencies- Good knowledge of analog IPs such as ADC, DAC, PLL, analog comparator, quartz oscillator, Opamp- Experience on measurement methods and use of equipment such as: oscilloscope, arbitrary waveform generator, multimeter, current and voltage source, etc...- Automated test bench development: knowledge in Labview, Teststand, Python languages- Microcontrollers embedded software development (C-based)- Knowledge in:
- Hardware: be able to specify and review schematics effectively and specify layout constraints and guidelines required for high precision analog testing-
- Microcontrollers: digital/analog functions-
- Data analysis tools like JMP, Excel -
- Good general IT skills:
- Collaborative development tools: JIRA, GIT, Confluence-
- Familiar with Windows and MS office suite-
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills (Debug)- Ability to work in an international environment (Europe, Asia, USA) with different groups (Architecture, IC Design, Analog Library, Applications, Marketing, Product and Test Engineering).- Ability to adapt quickly and to provide options and solutions to make decisions- Rigorous, organized, autonomous, self-motivated, and passionate- French & English (fluent Write/Read/Listening)
