Job Description:
Description of activities:
- Ensure the daily safety and security of the site.
- Ensure that the site's equipment and systems comply with current regulations.
- Supervise subcontracting companies in the areas of security, catering, reception, cleaning, waste collection...
- Ensure that all site work and activities are carried out in accordance with safety standards, health legislation, and relevant environmental standards.
- Decide on the actions to be implemented in case of a safety, health, or security emergency.
- Train new arrivals on safety rules.
- Ensure that site personnel's qualifications are adequate and up to date. Organize the safety certifications and training for site personnel.
- Conduct certain safety training sessions.
- Draft and validate safety prevention plans, fire permits, and activity authorizations.
- Verify that the site lockouts (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, etc.) are carried out and are compliant.
- Participate in root cause analyses of accidents or incidents.
- Draft operating procedures when necessary.
- Identify and propose improvement opportunities in their field.
- Promote the company's values and influence safety by example.
- Report notable events to his supervisor.
- Address safety or security issues raised by security agents during on-call duty.
- Assist the Senior Engineer I General Services and/or the General Services Manager.
Responsibilities exercised and scope of action:
Ensure the operational safety and security of the site.
Take charge of the environmental aspects related to the site.
Make decisions for immediate actions that could impact site safety or personnel health.
Propose medium and long-term improvement actions to their supervisor, who approves them.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a safety/security/environment technician.
- Associate's degree in safety prevention.
- General knowledge of French regulations.
- General knowledge of fire prevention systems (control panels, DI, Sprinkler, extinguishers, etc ).
- Knowledge of office tools.
- General knowledge of environmental standards.
- Knowledge of teaching techniques.
