**About the job**

The Observability PaaS team is building an all-in-one monitoring platform to provide dashboarding and alert capabilities to both Scaleway’s products and customer systems.
- Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be in charge of leading your teammates to achieve a high-quality, high-impact, product.
- You will be responsible for mentoring your teammates to develop, operate, and optimize the product.
- You will also play a key part in the technical stack design and product backlog management.

**Minimum qualifications**:

- Ability to lead an amazing team
- Excellent experience in Golang & Backend development (any additional language is a plus)
- Ability to identify the right design/coding pattern for any given problem
- Excellent soft skills and mindset
- Quick learner
- Very good command of English (French is a big plus)

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Experience with typical DevOps tooling: Git, CI/CD, containers, etc.
- Knowledge of observability products: Prometheus, Loki, Alertmanager, Grafana, etc.
- Comfortable using collaborative tools: GitHub/GitLab, Jira, Slack, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of microservices and cloud patterns (K8s is a plus)
- Experience leading people in an agile environment
- Familiarity with quality enhancers: unit/end-to-end testing and documentation
- Deep sysadmin and networking knowledge

**Responsibilities**:

- Make the right architectural choices for the product
- Identify the technologies best suited to fulfill the backlog
- Define the right quality standards for each step of a product’s life cycle
- Mentor your teammates to help them improve their skills
- Partner with the Engineering Manager to translate product needs into a backlog

This position can be either:

- Based in our offices in Paris or Lille (France), fully remote is possible

LI-Remote, #LI-Hybrid

Salary Range
- 67,000 - 83,000 EUR per year
