SYMBIO is THE FAURECIA MICHELIN Hydrogen Company : One of the major actor _in the future of zero emission mobility _

Our **_hyper-growth company_** designs Hydrogen Systems that can be integrated into several types of electric vehicles. The joint venture permits Symbio to grow and the aim is to develop three industrial sites supplying the world's main automotive markets: Europe, Asia and the United States.

Electric mobility demand is expected to increase significantly between now and 2030, with hydrogen powered vehicles accounting for 2 million vehicles of which 350,000 trucks.

As the only zero emission solution that complements battery-powered electric cars, hydrogen technology is essential in accelerating the deployment of electromobility and addressing its three major challenges: improving air quality, reducing CO2 emissions and the energy transition.

Within the framework of the reinforcement of the **Safety activities**, within the **quality department**, SYMBIO recruits its** Functional Safety Compliance Leader H/F.**

**Main activities /Missions**:
The Functional Safety Compliance Leader will be in charge of the following activities:

- **Support the development team** in meeting the requirements of **ISO26262**:

- Lead the **independent confirmation** measures and **assess the Program/ Project management** of the safety product to **ensure** **compliance** to the ISO 26262 standard
- Confirmation reviews of key work products, like for example of the safety concept and safety case
- Functional safety process audit, ensuring that necessary process steps are followed
- Functional safety assessment of the engineering to judge and confirm the achievement of functional safety.
- Covering **the assessment of Functional Safety on projects**, supporting the team in defining and implementing corrective measures
- **Manage and assess Automotive-SPICE Standard** (A-SPICE, AUTOSAR)

**Who you are : the needed skills and competencies **
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) in an engineering field, or equivalent experience.
- At least **5+ years of meaningful experience in the field of safety critical automotive** **development** and integration for embedded systems development.
- Knowledge of common automotive SW development methodologies and tooling and **ASPICE /AUTOSAR beneficial.**:

- Good knowledge of **project management methods** and tools.
- Ability to speak and write in English with various interlocutors.
- Experience in functional safety audits.
- Experience in **ISO 26262** projects, in hardware, systems or software.
- Professional Functional Safety: Qualification e.g. TUV, Exida or equivalent will be appreciated
- Experience of Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) / Failure Modes Effects and Diagnostics Analysis (FMEDA)
- High level of **judgement** and **decision-making ability** and assertiveness skills
- ** Excellent communicator, listener and collaborator**
- ** Solutions oriented and problem solver.**
