**Your Role**:
The purpose of this role is to lead and provide direction for SDWorx’s France managed payroll services team by further developing capability, knowledge and efficiency improvements, ensuring that all payroll services are delivered, accurately, on to time, within budget and quality standards within a continuous improvement environment.
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Leadership & team management: Lead and manage the payroll teams and their ops managers (on-shore & off-shore), providing guidance, support, and development opportunities. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment through effective coaching and mentoring. Perform annual appraisals & continuous feedback. Undertake recruitment campaigns as necessary
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure payroll processes comply with local laws and regulations, and manage any associated risks.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in payroll operations.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- P&L Responsibility: Oversee the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the payroll services division, ensuring financial targets are met. Develop and manage budgets, forecast financial performance, and implement strategies to optimize profitability.
- Internal stakeholder management: Build strong relationship with the implementation department to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers. Collaborate with the Sales, Commercial Services and products teams on corporate program engagement and internal business improvement initiatives, including those that can deliver significant improvement through use of our competence centers. Ensure a strong collaboration between the ops teams together with the implem and support teams (even the entire organization). Avoid silos and consider impacts of decisions.
**Your Profile**:
- Significant senior payroll service management experience
- Used to work with remote delivery center
- Has managed wide range of multi-workstream programmes in large, complex organisations
- Utilised formal change management methodologies to support business transformation
- Familiar with performance management and development
- Managing change and working within a changing environment
- Excellent communication skills - can explain technology without jargon
- High level of commercial acumen and capable budget manager
- Inspires confidence in colleagues, peers and clients through personal gravitas and credibility
- Demonstrable success in multiple stakeholder management
- Flexible but firm customer management
- Ability to influence internally without direct line responsibility
- Attention to detail
- Structured team management approach
- Experienced coach and developer of project and programme managers
- Fluent in French and English
- Master Degree in Business or relevant
