Embedded Software Development Engineer, Telecom Networks

We are looking for an experienced Telecom Networks Software Engineer specializing in the aeronautical sector (ATN) to develop operational 24/7 Datalink solutions. Reporting to the CEO and integrated into the Datalink Solutions team, you will be involved in the products from their development to their deployment, and you will interact with international interlocutors.
Your missions and responsibilities:
- Actively contribute to technical analysis, in particular the analysis of system requirements (requirements from ICAO, ARINC, EUROCAE standards, etc.) and customer requirements.
- Contribute to the development of quality plans, particularly those establishing verifications and tests in accordance with standards (RTCA DO-278, EUROCAE ED-109).
- Participate in defining the software and system architecture.
- Write high-level functional requirements and software requirements.
- Design and develop product functionalities, integrating software quality practices from the quality plans.
- Perform or supervise testing and verification as needed.
- Implement configuration management rules and ensure the establishment of the product baseline.
- Participate in writing technical documentation delivered to clients.
- Guarantee the quality and reliability of your developments.
- Participate in deployment campaigns at client sites.
- Organize and/or participate in team meetings and meetings with the client.
Your profile:
- Master’s degree in engineering (Engineering School or University program)
- You have approximately ten years of experience in software development within a sector with stringent quality and software safety requirements, ideally in the aeronautical or aerospace industry (critical systems).
Required skills for the position:
- Development using ANSI-C languages
- Network communication standards, OSI model, UDP, TCP, routing
- Network deployment, mobility, and IPv6 security (TLS, DTLS, IPSec)
- Experience with software quality assurance methods
- Environment: Linux cross-compilation, Jira, TRAC, SVN, Git
Other desirable skills:
- Aeronautical communication standards, communication stacks, NVF (OpenDaylight, OpenStack), Docker
- Familiarity with Agile project management and the SCRUM framework
- Good level of spoken and written English
- Rigor, attention to detail
- Collaborative spirit, strong interpersonal skills
- Constructive approach to work, proactive, and determined.
Contract details:
- Permanent contract (CDI)
- On-site work, remote work possible (regular or occasional)
- 5 weeks of vacation + 10 RTT days + additional vacation after 2 years of service
