Warehousing / Distribution Stream Lead - Your future role?

As a Warehousing / Distribution Stream Lead you will ensure timely and accurate processing of all activities for assigned global sub-stream, in accordance with performance and quality standards defined in relevant service level agreements. You will also lead and manage assigned team leads and team members, ensuring they perform efficiently and effectively in compliance with global process standards and delivery expectations as well as manage stakeholders and crossfunctional agreements.

**In this role you will**:
Activities
Analyze information and identify trends or areas of risk exposure; proactively address areas of risk with stakeholders
Contribute, as required to the development of service level agreements
Execute quality check activities to ensure consistency of functional activities, redirect activities as required
Develop a good understanding of new techniques and methods available through exchanges with internal teams, GSEs, process champions, and external contacts including customers, suppliers, consultants
Champion and enable continuous improvement initiatives by organizing resources from the team and other departments and ensuring appropriate tools and support are available to assigned team(s)
Ensure improvements add value to the business and can be supported by existing team(s), processes, and tools

People management
Manage the day-to-day activities of the assigned team(s) to ensure overall delivery against SLA
Set clearly defined performance objectives for the assigned team(s), ensuring appropriate alignment with performance/ quality standards defined in relevant service level agreements
Provide technical guidance and support to team members as required
Lead the recruitment of team leads and clerks as required
Monitor performance of assigned work team(s) against performance/quality standards defined
Lead, coach, motivate and develop the assigned team(s)

Technical Standards
Ensure team members within the assigned work area(s) & maintain appropriate levels of technical competence (training & development)
Contribute, as required, to the maintenance and updating of processes and procedures
Ensure compliance with internal operating and control procedures

Delivery
Review and approve reports
Manage difficult queries from countries
Manage country relationships and communication
Work closely with stakeholders to manage delivery expectations and workload levels which can be supported by resources available

**Your professional background includes**:
University degree (in the function-specific field) with majors in a functional-specific field or equivalent
7+ years of relevant experience in a function-specific role or equivalent
Experience in large-scale transitions
Experience in negotiating, and managing performance against SLAs
5+ years of experience in a managerial role
Extensive experience of working in a shared service environment
CI and/or project management experience
Excellent in English
Operate in a dynamic and international environment
Customer focus

**Software skills**: Good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office
