In this context, **Symbio** is looking for a dependability engineer. Integrated to the **RAMS team **within engineering, he defines and coordinates all mechanical safety and reliability activities across the company, according to standards and regulations, in order to reduce failure occurrence to reach safety and customer objectives.
Your missions will be as follows:
- **Define Symbio strategy** to be applied to mechanical or electro-mechanical components to ensure the safety, durability and quality of the system
- Define and update **Symbio dependability referential** describing process, phases, deliverables and templates, including the following phases:
- **Risk analysis (PHA/HARA, SFMEA, DFMEA)**, leading to reliability objective according to safety, durability, or quality targets
- Root cause analysis with ruin mode, damaging factor, environmental conditions, and mission profile
- Qualitative approach with risk management plan and validation to build up dependability case
- Quantitative approach by constraint resistance specification and validation
- Contribute to dependability plan formalization with the program dependability manager.
- Contribute to mechanical dependability analyses: FMEA, HAZOP, Durability matrix,
- Establish **mechanical safety concept** and reliability specifications
- Perform experimental or **analytical reliability calculations**:
- Ensure support to engineering team and **deploy dependability culture**:
- Assess supplier dependability activities
- Establish and deploy dependability training program
- Formalize return of experience and improvement road map
- Ensure standard and regulation follow up
Your profile: everything you need to succeed
**Mechanical engineer** or equivalent, you have 3 to 5 years of experience in **dependability or reliability **in an automotive or equivalent context.
Required knowledge:
- System engineering and V cycle
- General principles and **methods of RAMS** (Reliability, Maintainability, Availability, Safety)
- **Dependability tools (FMECA, FTA, risk analysis, root cause analysis, etc.)**:
- Reliability standards and calculations
- **Mechanics, fluid mechanics**:
- Knowledge in constraint/resistance method, IP protection, environmental validations, corrosion prevention
- **Technical English**
Autonomy, rigor, spirit of initiative, good listening skills, pedagogy, animation and teamwork will be assets to carry out your missions.
