**Job Description: Automotive Security Analyst -Internship**

**Role Overview**:
As an **Automotive Security Analyst Intern **, you will work closely with our cybersecurity team to help identify and mitigate security risks across our products. This role will provide hands-on experience in cybersecurity risk assessment, vulnerability analysis, and understanding the implications of threats to modern connected vehicles and mobility services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Risk Analysis**: Support the team in performing **Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) **for various EV-products in line with cybersecurity standards like **ISO/SAE 21434 **. Harmonize the analysis for a EV based threat catalogue to ensure reusability.
- **Threat Modeling**: Contribute to creating threat models and analyzing attack vectors that could affect the EV products (e.g., fuel cell compressor, E-Turbo chargers, and invertor parts, e-powertrain). Assist in using modelling methods to identify potential security vulnerabilities and mitigate them in the design phase.
- **Research**: Stay updated on the latest developments in automotive cybersecurity, including vulnerabilities, attack surfaces, and defense mechanisms.
- **Documentation**: Document findings, create reports, and recommend improvements to automotive security policies,processes and controls.
- **Collaboration**: Work with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and network engineers, to integrate security best practices into the product lifecycle.

**Qualifications**:

- **Currently pursuing a degree **in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- **Good knowledge **of networking protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and automotive systems is a plus.
- **Interest in automotive security **and connected vehicle technologies, including electric vehicles.
- **Understanding of encryption **, authentication, and secure coding principles.
- Strong **analytical and problem-solving skills **.
- **Excellent communication skills **to convey complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of **ISO/SAE 21434 **or **ISO 26262 **standards is a bonus but not mandatory.
