This internship presents the opportunity to work in the fastest-growing European marketplace and contribute to shaping the Future of Work, access one of the largest and richest employer-worker databases, grow and spread our knowledge about the labor market transformations, and develop your analytical skills alongside an international team.

**It is a 6-month full-time internship starting beginning in 2025.**

**Key responsibilities ✨**:

- You’ll develop a deep understanding of our freelancers and clients and how they interact with each other and with our product
- You’ll be part of the data team, working closely with data analysts to get insights from the data we collect and helping to spread the data culture within Malt
- You’ll be a partner to our content marketing and communication teams, especially working on getting insights from the behavior of clients and freelancers to create content that we could share to our clients and our community
- On top of delivering deep dive analytics and insights, you’ll be asked to support the creation of content levering data visualization and storytelling
- Learning & mentorship: Direct guidance from an experienced data analyst pairing with one experiences member of the content team.

**About you ‍**:

- You have or are pursuing a masters degree in a quantitative field (eg. data science, economics, engineering) or one using data-driven methods (eg. business, marketing)
- You have previous experience in a fast-paced and quantitative environment (start-up, scale-up, consulting, finance, marketing )
- You have good analytical skills, the **curiosity **to make the data speak, and an appetite to learn new tools & methods to **analyze **data. Being proficient in** Excel **is mandatory. Knowledge of SQL and Python is a strong plus.
- You are familiar with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Metabase, PowerBI ) and/or you are eager to **learn **how to master such tools
- You have strong **communication** and **presentation**-building skills, and you enjoy telling a compelling story with a simple graph
- You are curious and eager to learn new things
- You are fluent in **English**

- Screening with one member of the Talent Acquisition team (30mn)
- Experience discussion and team fit with the Content team (45m)
- Quantitative reasoning and business sense with a Data Director & a Data Analyst (1h)
