As one of the world’s largest chocolate and pet food manufacturers, we are a major player in international business, with annual revenue of USD 44 billion. Strong cash and liquidity management is critical to operate our business, which is the main responsibility of the Global Treasury Operations team, located in the Netherlands and USA. The Global In-House Bank (GIHB) is at the center of this team, with key responsibilities to execute vendor payments and settle inter-company transactions with average cash flow of more than EUR 100 million per day
**What are your responsibilities?**
As the new Senior Treasury Analyst, you will be a member of the GIHB operations team in the Netherlands, your key responsibilities will be:
- Act as the key driver for continuous improvement of the Treasury cash management processes
- Develop new solutions using digital tools like Power BI, MS Flow and PowerApps thanks to your strong digital mindset
- Thrive on creating efficiencies for the team, e.g. via Robotic Process Automation
- Daily work with banks and software providers is an integral part of your role
- Run projects to expand the GIHB Payment Factory to more units and extend our cash pooling structure
- Measure and report on a quarterly basis the effectiveness of improvement achievements, including governance and control benefits
- Identify opportunities to increase automation of Treasury processes to deliver efficiencies while maintaining quality and controls
- Participate in the Global Payments project with the objective to establish a centralized payment hub, by providing insights on payment technology and support in pilot projects
- Support the GIHB Coordinator in acquisition integration into GIHB Operational processes, like cash forecasting, cash sweeping and inter-company submissions
- Act as back-up for the GIHB Administrators
**What we are looking for?**
- Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, Economics
- Minimum 3 years working experience and knowledge of financial processes and systems
- International treasury and/or banking experience preferred
- Previous experience with SAP or another ERP systems
- Fluent in English
- Professional knowledge of MS Excel is required
- Project management experience
- Strong organizational skills and creative problem solver
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to discern large amounts of data and focus on the critical business issues
- Ability to work in a multitasking environment and meet deadlines and clear understanding of the need to prioritize
