**About the role**

We are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist for a **6-month fixed-term contract** to cover parental leave,** ideally starting in October 202**5. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will contribute to the delivery of accurate and compliant payroll operations in France, while ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for employees

**In your day to day you will**:

- Oversee and monitor payroll controls on payroll processed by the Payroll Producer in the team.
- Provide daily support to the Payroll Producer, including resolving routine issues, ensuring timely payroll delivery, analyzing DSN anomalies, and liaising with URSSAF, Social Security, and Prévoyance.
- Support the Payroll Manager in addressing complex or non-routine payroll issues.
- Act as back-up for the Payroll Producer during absences.
- Contribute to recurring payroll cycle activities (certifications, reporting, audits).
- Help develop and implement payroll standards, including root-cause analysis in cases of non-compliance.
- Draft, review, and maintain payroll procedures and our knowledge base, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
- Contribute to payroll department projects and audit preparation.
- Execute and maintain payroll reporting processes.
- Respond to queries from employees, external providers, and other stakeholders with professionalism and empathy.

**What We’re Looking For**:
**Technical Competencies**
- 5+ years of experience within a similar or equivalent position, handling in-house payroll for France on ADP Decidium
- Solid knowledge of French payroll regulations, particularly under the SYNTEC agreement.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, formula creation, complex calculations)
- Comfortable working with IT tools and numerical calculations.
- Ability to communicate effectively in French; working proficiency in English (Intermediate+).
