**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Provide technical support for desktop hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Manage computer systems including installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware components.
- Assist with VPN setup and configuration, ensuring secure remote access for users.
- Monitor and maintain firewalls, TCP/IP settings, DNS configurations, and network administration tasks.
- Utilize tools such as SCCM for software deployment and management.
- Respond to help desk tickets using BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or Jira; prioritize tasks based on urgency.
- Conduct analysis of recurring issues to identify trends and recommend solutions.
- Support mobile devices and ensure compatibility with existing IT infrastructure.
- Maintain Active Directory accounts for user management and permissions.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in technical support or desktop support roles.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server environments and network protocols (TCP/IP).
- Experience with IT support tools such as SCCM, BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or Jira is preferred.
- Understanding of computer networking concepts including LAN configurations and management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to resolving user issues effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
