Currently based in Lyon (7st), we are looking for a:
**_Data Engineer_ (M/F)**

By joining MaaT Pharma, you will have the opportunity to participate in the development and production of solutions at the cutting edge of pharmaceutical innovation. Your main role will be to organize and make available the data collected in order to interpret it and thus support the company in developing value creation.

More precisely, your main missions will be:

- Collect, select and validate relevant data for analysis (statistics, bioinformatic or data science)
- Define storage solutions and define data structuring
- Suggest and implement ETL process
- Ensure the security of databases and archives (against loss or theft)
- Conceptualize and implement dashboard (summarized and automated data visualization)
- Improve quality and enriching the databases
- Study and implement the best technical solutions to manage large volume of data
- Determine tools and methods for data acquisition from a set of technically heterogeneous databases
- Facilitate workshops to express internal needs and write specification
- Control data quality throughout their processing
- Implement and ensure data modeling
- Write the requirements specification for the team project
- Determine dynamic and multidimensional reporting tools (OLAP4)
- Present results and reports to the different teams of the company
- Train users in data management and visualization tools
- Participate in the edition and maintenance of technical documentation

To success and grow in MaaT-Pharma, you ideally have:

- A Master’s degree (second year) or an engineer degree in scientific field such as mathematics, IT, biology... with a Data Engineer specialization acquired through further education or previous work experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management as key contributor and management of scientific data in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology field
- A successful experience in data analysis methods and technique
- Excellent cloud, cybersecurity and databases knowledges (SQL or NoSQL)
- Good knowledge of risk management techniques
- Skills in functional analysis and requirements engineering
- Strong IT and programming language skills: SQL, Python, R
- Skills in Apache Nifi, Neo4j, PostgreSQL will be a plus.
- Knowledge of standards: ISO27001, IEC 62304, FDA 21 CFR part 11, as well as awareness of the GDPR regulation would be a plus
- A good level of French and English, written and oral
