Cost Control Expert

**Context and Business Reasons**: The Cost Control Department is reinforcing his business partnering though the development of tools and analysis aiming to support the strategic but also the day-to-day business decision making in order to reduce costs and increase the operational margin.
**Summary**: She/he protects the interests of the group improving and monitoring the cost efficiency processes at Agency, Region, and HO Level. She/He facilitates the business decision making
- via the forecasting on cost and developing and implementing methods to improve group operating margin. She/he coordinates Region and HO allowing visibility and complementary vision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Develop and implement methods to improve group operating margin.
Ensure implementation of methods to budget, forecast, and analyze OPEX evolution in the Region and HO.
Consolidate Regional reporting and strategic material for communication.
Share best practice within Regional sites.
Follow main projects and initiatives until their achievement.
Perform studies on specific trends and cost natures
2. Ensure data consistency and visibility.
3. Support HO Cost Control Management on strategic communications to the HO OPEX Community

Personal Qualifications
**Education/Experience**:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics and Transportation.
Shipping or logistic experience is a strong asset.
**Language Ability**: Good knowledge of written and spoken English and French
**Computer Skills**: Strong grasp of Microsoft Office programs like, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
