**Harmonic is looking for its new Linux Security Engineer**

**Role summary**

**Qualifications**

**Requirements**:
At least 5 years of experience, dedicated to Linux Security, Hardening and Automation.

You will need to have in-depth knowledge of:

- Identifying and defining Linux security requirements
- The process of automating the provisioning, patching, security, compliance, and other Linux-based tasks across virtual and physical servers
- The process of creating Linux images for servers and desktops
- Security hardening techniques and standards (CIS, ISO27001) would be a plus
- Migrating NIS to Active Directory Domain Services
- Securing NFS servers
- Migrating from SVN to GIT
- Tools to Automate Linux Admin Tasks (Ansible)
- Scripting languages (Python, Perl).

**Other Skills**
- Adaptability and diplomacy
- Strong analytical skills and efficient problem solving
- Good level in English (read / written / spoken)
- Good writing of technical and operational documents
- Enthusiasm for staying up to date with the very latest updates about security threats and solutions
- Knowledge of ITIL (change management process) would be a plus
