Lead Product Designer

Description du poste - We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to manage the product designers in our design team. Within the product department organized in squads, under the responsibility of the Head of Design, the Lead Product Designer will manage a team of product designers, identify problems and opportunities, frame them in a way that guides both squads and other designers to deliver impact. The lead product designer is motivated by goals and outcomes, staying focused on the big picture while giving care to the details when necessary. He iterates quickly and utilize data and user research to ensure we are on the right path towards our goals. Main tasks: - Work in close coordination with HoD & CPO on the vision, co-organising delivery cycles and objectives for the design team. - Manage a team of 6 designers (across product design). - Partner with PMs, engineers, Legal, other designers, and stakeholders across BforBank to deliver products and features. - Understand and map our persona’s journeys, and then work to educate others on how that journey affects their work. - Pair designing with product designers to bring a birds-eye-view of how their project fits into the overall user journey. - Coordinate with HoD for the transversal streams of visual language design and UX research. - Align to and engage design team to work within existing processes: - 6-week delivery cycles. - Dual track of work: delivery vs discovery. - Standard iterative design process (discover - define - test - iterate - deliver). - Ongoing user research & user testing cycles. - Weekly product team huddles. - Weekly design team huddles. - Help develop a ‘crit’ and review process for design work. - Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale verbally and visually to a variety of audiences (team members, your squad, company-wide, execs). - Help refine our processes and define best practices for design at BforBank. You have significant experience in digital design, UI/UX development and Management. - Niveau d'expérience minimum 6 - 10 ans - Soft skills Experience: - An appreciation for the entire product development cycle: research, problem definition, ideation, solution design, validation, and iteration. Strong communication of design work and your rationale behind solutions. Experience in financial digital products & services. Experience in large digital product delivery projects. Experience managing and developing design teams. Highly developed design skills, demonstrated in your portfolio of recent work. Confident presentation and storytelling abilities. Experience collaborating in multifunctional teams as the visual Language design Team. Proficiency with contemporary design and prototyping tools and methods. Affinity with BForBank values, and a passion for creating products that meet people's functional and emotional needs.
