Schemes Regulations Compliance Manager

Our client is one of France's most innovative Payment Service Providers and Acquirers, substantially growing its presence across Europe.
As a Payment Methods Expert working for their business units (Retail Bank & Fintech), you will be a key player in ensuring that their payment solutions meet the requirements of payment schemes (VISA, MasterCard, Bank Cards, JCB, Diners, Bancontact, UPI). You will be responsible for informing, coordinating, and leading their regulatory changes, whether mandatory or prospective, in an ongoing effort to help our customers and develop our solutions.
**What you will be doing**:
- Ensure regulatory monitoring of payment schemes (e.g., VISA, MasterCard, CB, JCB, Diners, Bancontact, UPI)
- Collect, synthesize and evaluate the impacts of regulatory changes
- Ensure that they are taken care of through the animation of committees and/or the elaboration of roadmap schemes
- Bring your expertise to the technical sales, business, and project teams
- Ensure relations with our payment scheme contacts
- Report regularly on the fulfillment of our regulatory commitments.
You will collaborate closely with all the business teams (e.g., MOA/MOE, Back-office, IT, pre-sales, legal, etc.) while ensuring feedback and alerts to the management.
**Requirements**:
Ideally, you graduated with a Master's degree and have at least **5 years of professional experience** in the regulatory world of electronic payments. **Knowledge of one or more payment schemes** (Visa, MasterCard, Bancontact, etc.) and of **issuing, accepting, or acquiring are required**.
On top of that:
- You are curious and can understand the operational issues around payment and project medium/long-term visions
- You have a good vision and understanding of current payment issues on the commercial and banking sides.
- You have already worked in the fields of issuing, accepting, or acquiring on behalf of banks or processors
- You are rigorous, attentive, and structured
- You are a good communicator
- You can lead and federate the work of multidisciplinary teams.
- You have a good command of English, both written and spoken.
- You are based in the Aix-en-Provence area.
