**About the role**
The Staff Product Manager at Cyberhaven is a pivotal role focused on leading the strategy and execution for DSPM. This position is designed for an experienced product manager with a background in cybersecurity, who will work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver innovative product features that meet customer needs. The role involves defining product vision, conducting market research, and collaborating with external partners to enhance product integrations, all while ensuring robust protection against insider threats.
**What you’ll do**
- ** Market Strategy & Vision**: Define and execute the product strategy for the DSPM portfolio, encompassing market positioning, competitive analysis, pricing, and go-to-market plans.
- ** End-to-End Product Lifecycle Management**: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to end-of-life, ensuring continuous alignment with market demands, the competitive landscape, and company objectives. Continuously strive to enhance data products and maximize customer value.
- ** Cross-functional Collaboration**: Lead and collaborate closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to prioritize the product roadmap, define features, and execute successful product launches. Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with engineering leads, peer product managers, and other key stakeholders.
- ** Market Insights**: Conduct thorough market research, customer interviews to deeply understand customer needs and concerns, and competitive analysis. Use these insights to inform product development and marketing strategies, and create scalable methods for effectively communicating value propositions and technical details.
- ** Sales Enablement & Engagement**: Develop compelling sales tools, training programs, and collateral to empower the sales team to effectively articulate the value proposition of our solutions to customers and partners, thereby increasing customer engagement.
- ** Performance Monitoring & Reporting**: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for the analytics and reporting product portfolio. Regularly monitor and report on product performance against these metrics.
- ** Thought Leadership & Industry Influence**: Establish yourself and the company as prominent thought leaders in the security space through active participation in industry conferences, webinars, white papers, and other thought leadership initiatives.
**Who you are**
- 5+ years of experience in product management with a focus on cybersecurity
- Strong understanding of data protection, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies
- Skilled at working cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and sales teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Entrepreneurial spirit, with a passion for creating innovative solutions that address customer needs
- Prior experience in DSPM, SSE, or DLP is preferred, though not essential.
- Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
