**Job Details**
Join our recent and dynamic HPC and Cloud Solutions business line Viridien is looking for the HPC CS **Financial Controller**to be part of our worldwide teams and work within an international high-tech company.
You report directly to the HPC CS Finance Director. The role is based in Viridien headquarters in Massy.
In this role you’ll be a key player in our Finance Team. You’ll develop a strong relationship with operational managers. You’ll be responsible for providing them support and finance analysis. You’ll work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
Controlling
- Follow contract cycle from signature to invoicing and cash management. Focus on revenue recognition, deferred revenue and unbilled.
- provide support to Business Managers on cost controlling, with insightful analysis.
- monitor performance, report key variance and KPI’s of Global Support functions.
Reporting
- Prepare the financial reporting that will be presented to the Business Managers of the Global Support functions: headcount, actuals, forecast, key indicators.
- support management with the preparation of budget and financial forecasts,
- contribute to 3 years business plan and yearly budgeting processes
- carry out analysis and explain variances (actual, budget, update, previous year) through bridges and ad hoc analysis.
Other missions
- Prepare specific monthly reviews: actuals (P&L and payables), people, assist with audit request
**Qualifications**
- Master’s degree in business, finance, accounting etc
**Key Skills and Experiences**
- Financial background needed in accounting and controlling with good knowledge of accounting principles and reporting
- 1-3 years of previous experience at a minimum in a controlling role within a multicultural environment
- Proficient with financial data analysis tools (MS Excel; data retrieve tools) and use of financial databases (Oracle Hyperion or other EssBase cubes)
- Strong working level in PowerPoint
- Analytical mindset
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Dynamic, open-minded team player with a desire for continuous improvement
- Fluent oral and written English (mandatory)
