We are currently looking for a MECHANICAL ENGINEER HPP for a minimum period of 12 months in ETHIOPIA.In the framework of the G.E.R.D.P., for which our customer acts as Employer’s Representative, the Mechanical Engineer will work on the Right Bank Powerhouse equipment’s activities on site.In direct and close relationship with the team on site office, the head office team and the Ethiopian client.The Mechanical Engineer will focus supervising the works, controlling the schedule of the works, controlling the tests certificates for every mechanical equipment’s such as steel liners, cranes, gates, mechanical auxiliary equipment’s, turbines etc.He will manage local supervisor on the site.He will focus in the interfaces between the different Contractor working on the EBoP.

PROFIL:
15 years minimum within Mechanical Equipment of Hydro Power Plant
Extensive experience in Mechanical Equipment’s for Hydro power projects;
Experience in foreign countries, preferably in Africa (5 years minimum);
Experience in hydropower schemes;
Experience of major electric and mechanical infrastructures construction sites in Africa (on site);
Strong autonomy and decisional capacities;
Relational ease in international context.
English fluency is a must ; French appreciated but not required
