We are seeking** a software test and validation Engineer, in Cachan** to join our Software test and validation team.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing, validation processes, and software quality assurance, all while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
The Software test and validation Engineer will report to the to the **Senior Software Test and Validation Engineer.**
**Your key responsabilities**:
- Write and execute functional and performance tests using Pytest.
- Analyze technical and functional specifications to identify test cases.
- Execute manual and automated test campaigns.
- Investigate and reproduce bugs reported by automation tests.
- Report and track bugs using a bug-tracking tool (GitLab Issues).
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Write technical documents, such as validation reports and user guides for testing tools.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows and automate build and deployment processes.
- Continuously improve existing testing tools and processes while staying up to date with the latest frameworks and best practices in test automation
- Contribute to Alpha and Beta testing campaigns to validate new releases and features
**Your qualifications**:
- Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field

- Strong Python skills for scripting
- Familiarity with Git.
- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tools like GitLab.
- Attention to detail and rigor.
- Ability to solve problems independently.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in French and English (written and spoken).

- You have a previous experience involving Python and software testing
- Experience with working in virtual environments
- Familiarity with performance testing and related metrics
- Previous experience in GUI (Graphical User Interface) testing
- ISTQB Certification (Foundation Level)
