Due to significant growth and to address the needs of our technical teams, we are seeking a Lead automation engineer.

As Lead automation engineer you will join the Quality engineering team, based in France and the United States, to lead the automation efforts and promote best technical practices.

**As a strategic role, you will report to the manager of the Quality engineering team and your responsibilities will include**:

- **Automation Strategy & Implementation**:
Lead and implement test automation strategies for all testing levels (component, integration, E2E,User centric testing).

Develop and maintain automated tests across multiple projects.

Ensure proper integration of automated tests into the GitLab CI pipeline for continuous testing.

Work closely with developers (Node.js, Salesforce, PHP) to ensure smooth integration of automation.
- ** Mentorship & Leadership**:
Mentor and guide developers and Quality engineers in automation best practices.

Promote a culture of quality and accountability, ensuring automation is a priority across the team.
- ** Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work**:
Collaborate with DevOps and Infra teams (AWS, Azure) for environment setup, monitoring, and testing in the cloud.
- ** Tool Management**:
Lead the use of Xray for test management, ensuring all test cases, results, and reports are properly documented.

Use Datadog to monitor automation performance and ensure reliable, scalable testing solutions.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Engineering degree or Master’s degree,
- ** You have 8+ years of experience in a technical field,**:

- Testing framework/Tools: Playwright, PactumJS, Jest, Postman, RobotFramework, Cucumber Or other frameworks As (Cypress, RestAssured),
- Knowledge on BDD and data driven testing,
- CI/CD Knowledge: Strong experience with GitLab CI for continuous integration and delivery,
- ** Cloud Expertise**: Working experience with **AWS** and **Azure** environments,
- ** Test Management Tools**: Familiarity with **Xray** or similar test management tools,
- ** Nice to have**: Experience with Salesforce testing,
- Ability to work in an agile environment,
- Team player, you have good communication skills and a real interest in technology,
- Fluent in both French and English.
