Cybersecurity Engineer

Within the Engineering department, you will join the DevSecOps team as a Security Engineer. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the security of our products in a cloud infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement and manage a Web Application Firewall (WAF) in an AWS environment
- Develop detailed security procedures to ensure compliance with security standards
- Automate operating system patching processes for efficient security patch management
- Automate vulnerability scanning and implement corrective measures
- Educate staff on security best practices and provide ongoing training on current threats and best practices
- Integrate security measures into CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and contingency plans
- Conduct penetration testing campaigns

**Required Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing security solutions in cloud environments, preferably AWS
- In-depth knowledge of IT security concepts, standards, and best practices
- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automating security tasks
- Experience in a DevSecOps environment (continuous integration and deployment)
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve security challenges
- Proactive mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with DevOps and development teams

Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, AWS Security) would be a plus.
