**About us**:
Owkin is building the first universal AI Operating System called K to lay the foundation for Biological Artificial Superintelligence (BASI). This OS integrates a suite of AI agents that decode complex biology, accelerate research, and dramatically increase productivity. Acting as copilots, Owkin K agents will automate drug discovery and diagnostics and power next-gen pharma companies.

Owkin's OS will be powered by the world's largest federated multimodal patient data network, a robotized lab, leading AGI technologies, and cutting-edge multimodal foundation models and LLMs.

**About the role**:
As Purchasing Manager, you will oversee and enhance procurement processes within Owkin, ensuring optimal supplier relationships, cost efficiency, and compliance. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive impactful purchasing strategies and collaborate across departments in a dynamic, innovative environment.

This is a 9-month contract.

You will work closely with Owkin's operational teams and report directly to the Purchase Director who is part of the Legal team.

**Your missions**:

- **Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies**: Contribute to the development of purchasing strategies to ensure alignment with Owkin's short
- and medium-term business objectives.
- **Manage Tender Processes**: Launch and oversee tenders, ensuring transparency and competitiveness throughout the process.
- **Supplier Management and Negotiation**: Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers. Negotiate commercial conditions to secure the best commercial terms while maintaining Owkin's quality and sustainability standards.
- **Internal Collaboration**: Partner with internal stakeholders to analyze needs, review expenses, and recommend cost-effective solutions while challenging requirements when necessary.
- **Optimize Tools and Processes**: Manage the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process and identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and user satisfaction.

**About you**:
**Required Qualifications & Experience**:

- **3+ years of experience in procurement,** with a solid understanding of tender processes, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
- Familiarity with procurement policies, techniques, and best practices.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Interest in and ability to engage with technical and scientific topics.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach in a constantly evolving environment.
