At Ascendance we are building tomorrow’s hybrid-electric aviation with ATEA, a unique Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft powered by STERNA, our in-house hybrid-electric propulsion system. **Your role**:
Reporting directly to the Flight Test Team Lead, you will play an active role in critical phases of maintenance and the integration of flight test instrumentation systems. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with advanced technologies and to contribute meaningfully to key stages in the development of our prototype.

You will work closely with the Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) engineer and also the maintenance manager.

**Your main responsibilities will be**:

- Help for the preparation and configuration of the test equipment and instrumentation for each test.
- Support FTI system troubleshooting for both aircraft and ground station
- Support real time visualization software adaptation optimization
- Participate in the implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance management and control tools
- Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance operations on the prototype.
- Write technical reports and update maintenance and testing documentation.

**Profil recherché**:
**The job has been made for you if you**:

- Have follow the aeronautical course either in an engineering school or a equivalent
- Are looking for an internship starting first quarter 2025
- Are hands on, like the maintenance aspects of an aircraft
- Want to improve your knowledge in flight test more precisely of all aspect around Flight Test instrumentation, datalink and real time visualization
- Agile, finding simple and pragmatic solutions, work with time constraints
- Private pilot license (or on going) is a plus
