To request an accommodation, please contact a member of the Ceva Talent Acquisition team. **Your missions**: As part of CEVA Santé Animale France, the Buyer will be responsible for a portfolio of active ingredients used in the composition of strategic products, and for consolidating requirements across the laboratory's various production sites. The main tasks of the Buyer will be to optimize the purchasing conditions of his/her category, and to contribute to the laboratory's product ambitions, while ensuring the competitiveness and continuity of supplies. The jobholder will be responsible for the following tasks: - Manage a portfolio of Pharmaceutical Active Ingredients and a panel of associated suppliers - Collaborate with R&D teams, participate in upstream sourcing and help capture innovation from the Group's key suppliers. - Establish purchasing strategies for the portfolio, to be shared and validated by key internal contacts, - Negotiate prices and optimize industrial production costs (CRIs) for Pharmaceutical Active Ingredients under his/her responsibility, - Monitor key indicators (PPV, budget, purchasing strategies, supply contracts, Supplier Relationship Management, etc.). - Set up supply contracts if necessary and appropriate to secure raw materials, in liaison with the Legal Department, - Carry out a risk analysis of its perimeter with a risk reduction action plan, - Manage cross-functional projects such as launch projects, change control processes and calls for tender, - Monitor market trends, benchmark on a regular basis... **Your profile**: **Education**: Dual skills in Purchasing + Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy... would be a plus for the position. Experience: Ideally a minimum of 2/3 years' experience as a Buyer or scientific profile, preferably in the Pharmaceutical industry (or related sector). Very good command of English. Soft skills: Strong adaptability, open-mindedness, customer orientation, curiosity, motivation, ability to react quickly to complex situations, to influence, to collaborate with empathy.
