Position Summary

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, He/she interacts with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services. Dealing directly with customers by telephone and electronically, responding promptly to all customer inquiries internally and externally.

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow instructions and objectives from the Customer Service & Operations Manager.
- Monitor and track ongoing shipments, reacting to any deviation from the plan.
- Keep clients and World Courier offices updated to the status of their shipment, especially in regards to delays.
- Determine which shipping solution should be used for certain shipments.
- Advice clear pick up/special delivery/temperature control handling instructions to an agent or destination office on how a shipment should be managed.
- Communicate any temperature results as soon as possible after delivery, checking and noting any deviations.
- Work with regulations (ADR/DGR/IATA) as well as local laws and guidelines.
- Build and maintain relationships with World Courier offices, clients, agents, airlines, handling agents and suppliers.

Knowledge and Skills
- Native in French and Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Previous Customer Service experience in a business to business industry, in logistics preferred
- Knowledge of Import/Export processes
- Able to follow procedures and instructions.
- Able to work in a team with a flexible approach.
- Knowledge in Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Graduate from International Business Diploma or related discipline
