We help our customers make the most of geospatial data and stay one step ahead in their most critical missions. At Geospatial Solutions, we are structured into self-organized thematic teams. The Geographic Data Infrastructure (GDI) team is made up of skilled business experts, developers and DevOps, all involved in the geOrchestra open source community. Our Geographic Data Infrastructure team is looking for a project manager based in Bourget du Lac (France). Your day as a Project Manager GDI You have full responsibility for a portfolio of customer projects and manage the lifecycle of these projects. - You take part in drawing up responses to calls for tender. - You take charge of projects from the pre-sales phase through to production start-up. - You follow project design (customer requirements, functional specifications, work packages, deliverables, acceptance criteria, etc.). - You manage projects and take part in planning and leading the project team. - Working with your Team Lead, you coordinate internal resources to deliver projects on time. - You anticipate risks and propose solutions to obstacles encountered. - Communicate on project progress (quality/costs/deadlines) and ensure reporting. - You bill our customers for projects and guarantee their profitability. - You organize regular retrospectives on the different phases of projects. **Profile**: Your essential skills to succeed in this role - You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent. - You have practical experience of data infrastructures, including configuration and deployment. - You have several years' project management experience (3 years or more). - You have strong written and oral communication skills, and are able to federate, lead and structure management discussions. - You are a native French speaker and have a good level of English. The icing on the cake If you are comfortable on these points, it’s a plus: - You have experience with GeoServer or GeoNetwork. - You have experience with Atlassian suite tools: Jira and Confluence.
