Intake Specialist

**Description**:
The Intake Specialist serves as the initial point of contact for prospective borrowers and partners interested in loan products and services. This role is responsible for handling and qualifying incoming inquiries, collecting preliminary documentation, and facilitating a streamlined intake process to ensure a strong foundation for an efficient lending experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Handle high-volume inbound calls from prospective borrowers, brokers, and partners, providing clear information about available loan products and services.
- Collect and verify borrower details, assess basic loan eligibility, and record information accurately in the CRM system.
- Qualify and route leads to the appropriate loan officer or department based on loan type, property, and borrower profile.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, lending regulations, and confidentiality standards when handling sensitive information.
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a positive, professional, and supportive experience for every caller.

**Skills, Knowledge & Expertise**:

- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in call center, customer service, or intake, ideally in financial services, mortgage, or real estate.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain loan programs clearly and professionally.
- Accurate data entry skills with excellent attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to manage high call volumes and multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of loan processes, real estate, or lending is a plus
- Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and related software.
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
