Founded by two accomplished PhDs with backgrounds in CNRS research and Google engineering, Synboli is rapidly expanding its multidisciplinary team of chemists and machine learning experts in Synboli’s top-class work environment.

**The role**: Software Engineer

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain the platform used by our AI and Data Science team to develop, evaluate, and run models predicting the properties of polymers.
- Develop and manage our internal database of polymer knowledge.
- Work cross-functionally with engineers and researchers in Chemistry to advance the AI technology supporting new polymer discovery.

**Qualifications**
- PhD or Engineering degree in Computer Science with knowledge in Machine Learning.

**Skills**
- Strong programming expertise in one or several mainstream programming languages (C++, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of backend infrastructure (databases, virtual machines, etc.) in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with machine learning principles and infrastructure needs.
- Cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.
- Professional fluency in English.

**Compensation and benefits**:
