Contracts Intern

Location: Meyreuil, France

As a Contracts Intern, you will be assisting contract activities for all our locations (France/ Denmark/UK and US) under the supervision of our Contract & Labor Relations Manager. Your main focus will be the implementation of our new Legal Tech as you will be in charge of screening all our existing contracts and create our legal repository. You may also be required to work on HR/Labor Relations aspects including but not limited to employment contracts reviews and/or assisting with the organization of work council meetings. **Responsibilities**:

- Attend the on-boarding meeting(s) with Legal Tech provider to familiarize with the system.
- Screen all our existing contracts with suppliers, clients or other parties; for each existing contract, fill summary sheet with fundamental terms (contract type, counterparty’s information, duration, country of jurisdiction, etc.).
- Identify any legal risks in existing contracts; provide feedback; undertake related researches to understand the implications when a specific risk is identified, either from your own initiative or upon request.
- Assist with organizing internal contracts/NDA reviews prior to signature; undertake legal researches when appropriate.
- Assist in drafting contract templates.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Fluent writing/reading English mandatory
- Currently studying International Business Law or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office product, notably Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong administrative, organizational and coordination skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
- Legal/HR experience a plus
