With the PharmaZell, Farmabios, and Novasep brands being unified under a single name, Axplora brings together companies that share a track record of high quality, reliability and a complementary set of differentiated technologies.

PharmaZell was acquired by Bridgepoint in 2020. Following its strategy to drive organic and inorganic growth of the business, the Private Equity firm enabled the acquisition of Novasep to form Axplora in 2022. The company now generates revenues of more than EUR 500m and employs some 2,500 people across sites in Germany, Italy, Spain, France, USA and India. Axplora’s headquarters are located in Raubling, Germany.

Axplora is looking for an ESG Manager (M/F) on a permanent contract to participate in the definition of the ESG strategy and coordinate the deployment of the roadmap and action plans with all BUs and functions to ensure sustainable performance that satisfies all Axplora Group stakeholders. The position will report to the Group ESG Director and will be based in Lyon (69).

Your main tasks will be:

- Participate on the ESG Committee in drawing up and implementing the ESG strategy and programs in line with regulations and the expectations of the Group's stakeholders.
- Work with all the BUs, the functions involved and the ESG referents at the sites, to steer the plans and actions to reduce and manage ESG risks, environmental impacts, particularly in terms of decarbonization, and the sustainable management of the value chain.
- Organize reports on the Group's ESG progress and performance and organize their distribution to key stakeholders: customers, employees, shareholders, etc
- Carry out analyses and examining ESG data to identify trends and risks.
- Identify expectations and managing communication with stakeholders and other parties on ESG issues.
- Draft legal and contractual documents for ESG activities and initiatives.
- Monitor and ensure that ESG initiatives and commitments are delivered on time and to standard.
- Develop and communicate ESG practices and policies to employees and ensure compliance.
- Coordinate with the purchasing function to communicate the Group's ESG expectations to suppliers and participate in their evaluation during the qualification phase.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify ESG factors that may influence business activity.
- Manage budgets and resources allocated to ESG and related expenses.
- Participate in conferences, seminars and other professional events related to ESG.

**Qualifications**:
You have a 5-year degree in Science with 3 years' experience in project management.

You are familiar with ESG standards and related regulatory developments.

Autonomous, dynamic and rigorous, you know how to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

You are a team player and are recognised for your interpersonal skills.

You are fluent in written and spoken English.
