**Overview**:
We have developed a 3D flight simulator of a rocket, offering a precise and complete representation of the dynamics at play. This powerful tool allows for the integration of various parameters to simulate and analyze complex scenarios. The physical engine is fully implemented in Python. To make this tool more accessible to a wider audience, we aim to develop an intuitive and ergonomic graphical interface.

Aside of this, we have a need in developing internal tools to support and make our development as efficient as possible. These tools will also need to have nice user interfaces, but they will also need to play with several APIs, other software interfaces and databases.

Joining us on this internship, you will contribute to:
**Design and development of the rocket simulator GUI**:

- Collaborate with the team to understand the users' needs and define the functional specifications of the interface.
- Create an intuitive interface to interact with the flight simulator: input parameters, run simulations, and visualize results.

**Data visualization**:

- Integrate interactive data visualization tools to graphically represent the data from simulations (trajectories, dynamics, Euler angles, etc.). This can eventually be a bridge to an external tool if this is more appropriate.

**Design of an engineering data synthesis software**:

- Develop a software that get engineering data across several sources and displays it in a user-friendly interface. This tool will also allow to test different configurations and to optimize

**Optimization and validation**:

- Test the graphical interface to ensure its reliability and robustness.

**Your profile **

To be successful in this internship, we're looking for a student in computer science, software engineering or related field, with a strong affinity for user interface development and database management. A first student experience with physical simulations or similar tools is an asset.
- You master Python and have good knowledge of graphical user interface frameworks (Tkinter, PyQt, PySide, or other) and database management systems.
- You have skills in data visualization (matplotlib, Plotly, etc.).
- You are autonomous, rigorous and creative.
