Thermal Architect

**Job Description **‍****:
We are looking for a Thermal Architect [F/M] to join the In-Orbit Servicing team. The main role of this person will be to lead, from architecture stage up to environmental testing, the thermal management architecture of space**van** satellites (transportation vehicles dedicated for small satellites and in-orbit-servicing payloads).

The current team is composed of several systems engineers and experts working on several space**van** platforms for LEO orbits missions and GEO orbit missions. You will work in a matrix organization, operationally linked to a platform development project team, and hierarchically linked to the mechanical and thermal engineering team.

Within a team of thermal engineers, your main tasks will be:
Define the thermal management system architecture of the satellite adapted to the technical and business constraints of the products

Define the modular thermal interfaces that will allow the spacevan to accommodate easily a various range of clients with thermal regulation needs

Lead and perform thermal analyses to validate the design and accommodation of the platform for a range of missions defined by business constraints

Manage subcontractor for thermal analyses or thermal sub-systems development (MLI, Heaters, Heat Pipes,...)

Procurement all elements of the thermal management system

Report progress of the thermal activities to the Project manager

Participate to the tests of the satellite: sub-systems, thermal building blocks, spacecraft

Support operation team during LEOP and operation of the space**van**

Participate to meetings with clients and launch providers

Participate to future platform evolutions leaded by product team

This position is opened in our office in Toulouse (city center) or our office in Massy (15km South of Paris). Monthly travels between the two offices will be required.
