The objective of the TRC team is to support all transportation business units operate in line with Amazon policies and country specific regulation.

Amazon’s TRC team identifies and mitigates risk in a rapidly growing and complex, global environment. To support the business, our primary mission is to perform independent and objective, risk-based assessments of Amazon business partners’ and business units’ activities and related controls with the goal of improving operations compliance, through effective risk management. TRC is seeking a high-performing Investigation/Escalation Manager, Europe to join the team to manage critical and high impact escalations. In this role, you deep dive a series of events leading to the escalation, actions taken to mitigate the issue prior to the escalation, provide a case summary, and work with stakeholders responsible and accountable to close out corrective and preventive action plans.

Key job responsibilities
- Autonomously conduct complex deep dive investigations on sensitive and high-severity escalations across the transportation businesses that could pose a risk to Amazon, our customers, or others.
- Ensure high quality root cause analysis to allow adequate recommendations on corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
- Meeting various SLAs depending on the type of escalation, including non-executive escalations and executive escalations.
- Work with cross-functional teams for collaboration on investigations.
- Communicating identified issues clearly, concisely, and consistently (verbal and written) to all stakeholders.
- Deliver high-quality escalation reports that are effectively written with practical, actionable, and value-added recommendations.
- Drive standardization of processes, identify and communicate risks and develop controls.
- Use a combination of tools and data sources to conduct investigations.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
