As an Operation Planning Manager, you will manage the E2E (End to End) Planning processes, ensuring the operations planning team deliver required service to both internal and external customers whilst minimizing the total delivered costs (production, distribution and inventory costs). **A day in the life of “Operation Planning Manager”** - Prepare and maintain a coordinated set of supply and deployment plans of finished (or semi-finished) goods in order to meet customer demand within min/max stock corridors, whilst minimizing the total delivered costs (production, distribution, and inventory costs). - Give visibility to the Operation Planning Manager of future capacity overload or underutilization and support decision making by providing simulated alternative supply scenarios that balance available capacity and demand. - Maintain, promote, and develop high health and safety standards and to carry out all duties and specific responsibilities in compliance with Health and Safety Policies and Procedures - Ensure the delivery of outstanding service by proactively managing potential stock issues to minimize disruption at a minimum cost-to-serve. - Maintain a transparent set of feasible capacity plans across Factory and initiate provisions e.g. change of product source, for capacity issues that cannot be resolved internally. - Adhere to Planning process for both Production Execution and Load Planning within alignment to the long-term Master Production Schedule, whilst optimizing production costs - Ensure smooth operations by effective communication and close collaboration with all partners at Factory, EOP, Market, Procurement, and external partners such as Suppliers. - Collaborate with peer EOP / Factory Supply Chain managers to share best practices, liaise with Lean Champion, Business Excellence and Factory Management to drive continuous improvement. - Communicate effectively with the Production team, European functions and market customers to champion customer service orientation within plant's organization. - Manage, guide, and develop the Operations Planning team to: - Maintain a transparent set of feasible capacity plans across all technologies and initiate provisions e.g. change of product source, for capacity issues that cannot be resolved internally - Adhere to the Planning process for both Production Execution and Load Planning within alignment to the long-term Master Production Schedule, whilst optimizing production costs - Ensure that raw & packaging material is available on time and quality at best overall cost for seamless manufacturing through co-ordination with suppliers / procurement of raw and packaging materials for maintaining service levels while constantly seeking improvement possibilities. - Development of careers, succession plans, development and coaching of Operations Planning team. **What Will make you successful** - Curious: what you do not know yet attracts you.
