Domestic Couple

Our client is a single parent to 3 children under the age of 7 who is based in beautiful Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur located on the heights of Cannes. He is now looking for an experienced domestic couple to join the team and assist with the smooth running of the home and family life. There is also a full time nanny employed.

You will be required to work 5 days per week, which will include weekends when required. Working hours are from 7:30am to 7pm and you will have a longer break during the day.

**Duties**

Housekeeper:

- Carry out all cleaning duties throughout the home.
- Laundry and ironing.
- Preparing simple, informal, family style meals for lunch and dinner.
- Change the bed linens.
- Pantry management.
- Have some overlapping childcare duties with the nanny when required.
- Occasional travel with the family to the UK or Germany to assist with the children.

All Rounder:

- Working alongside the gardener to ensure the garden is beautifully presented.
- Liaise with contractors.
- Carry out household maintenance.
- Driving duties when required.
- Run errands and carry out household shopping.
- Dog care.
- The ideal couple will already be based or have experience working in France. It is essential that you already have the correct paperwork to legally work in France.
- At least one of you needs to be confident speaking French to a level where you can liaise with contractors.
- At least one of you needs to be a confident driver.
- The principal is keen to find a couple who can add to a warm and family friendly atmosphere. You need to enjoy engaging with the children and be there to support them where needed.

***Accommodation**:
You will be provided with 1 bedroom apartment with its own terrace, private kitchen, and satellite CV. A couple with a dog will be considered.
