**Scope**

The Logistics Manager is accountable for managing warehouse/warehouse 3PL, logistics and transportation operations for France, handling inbound and outbound operations and inventory management. S/He maintains communication with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, custom brokers and others involved in the shipping and delivery of goods.

**Responsibilities**
- Identity carriers and negotiate freight contract and rates;
- Research ideal shipping alternatives and routings and arrange transportation of shipments to destination;
- Manage the entire order cycle, plan and monitor outbound and inbound activities ensuring sustainability and customer satisfaction;
- Manage outbound shipments, follow up with clearing and forwarding agents and monitor the turnaround time (TAT);
- Track shipments and update customers on a timely basis;
- Cooperate with the sales and warehouse teams for smooth execution of shipments;
- Coordinate with clearing agents and customs to maximize efficiency in terms of time and quality;
- Verify customs documentation for exports and transfer of ownership;
- Organize, monitor storage and manage stock movement through close coordination with the warehouse team;
- Perform monthly stock audits;
- Analyze data and metrics and identify issues and opportunities for process improvements;
- Address issues and complaints in a timely manner and escalate when and if needed;
- Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize processes thus optimizing workflows and reducing cost;
- Ensure safety and hygiene rules and regulations are being followed and respected at the warehouse;
**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any other related field
- CIPM or CISCM certifications is a plus
- At least 7 years of relevant experience
