Network Engineer

Role Overview

The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructures in data centers, with a strong focus on performance, security, and availability.

Key Responsibilities

**Network Design and Installation**:

- Analyze requirements and design network architecture.
- Install and configure equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
- Perform connectivity and performance tests.

**Configuration and maintenance**:

- Configure network devices with expertise in VLAN, PoE, and BGP.
- Implement security policies (VPN, ACL, etc.).
- Monitor and optimize network performance.

**Project Management and Documentation**:

- Participate in project planning and deployment.
- Draft technical documentation and intervention reports.

**Support and Incident Resolution**:

- Diagnose and resolve Level 2 and 3 incidents.
- Collaborate with operations and cybersecurity teams.

Required technical skills
- Expertise in VLAN, PoE, and BGP protocols.
- Strong knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, OSPF, MPLS).
- Experience with networking equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Extreme).
- Background in virtualization and SDN.
- Network security expertise (firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, Fortinet).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Wireshark, Nagios, PRTG).
- Experience with inventory management tools such as NetBox.

Preferred profile
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Networks and Telecommunications.
- Experience in data centers, cabling, and labeling is a plus.
- Preferred certifications: CCNP, JNCIP.
- Strong ability to take initiative and work proactively.
- Problem-solving skills for complex issues.
- Technical English proficiency required.

Pay: 22.85€ - 39.27€ per hour
