**Position Overview**

TOMRA is currently looking for a **Field Service Engineer** to join our team in France. You will be responsible for customer service (commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance, training, and repair) of our recycling sorters located at our customers' facilities in **France.**

This position is ideal for the aspiring adventurer, as there will be lots of travel, mainly domestic across France, although international travel is also possible.

**Job Description**:

- Installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of sensor-based sorters at TOMRA Recycling installation bases;
- Ensuring maximum performance of TOMRA sorting systems in the field;
- Delivering exceptional customer experiences through first-class communication and support;
- Optimizing of the sorting systems / process;
- Identifying opportunities to add value to our customers businesses through the introduction of complementary TOMRA products, solutions and services;
- Acting as a link between our customers and Head Quarters - collecting and providing feedback from the market so that we can continuously look for new opportunities for our customers.

**Qualifications**:

- Technical training at BAC+2 level (Electronics / Electro-technical / Automation / Industrial maintenance or similar); **OR..**:

- Relevant experience in on-site preventive and curative maintenance by supporting industry customers as a maintenance technician/specialist or service engineer;
- Willingness to **travel approximately 80% of the time**, in **France** (with occasional international travels);
- You have a **valid car license**;
- You have a solid **technical foundation**, particularly in electricity (reading electrical diagrams and plans, API/PLC electrical automation);
- You are at ease with computer programs / PC configuration;
- You are fluent in **French and English** languages;
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, internal and external associates, and management.
