Senior/lead Product Designer

We are looking for a Senior/Lead Product Designer based in Paris or London to join our growing Global team. As the most senior member of our Product Design team, you will be a critical piece of our development process by making the visions behind our products a reality for our users. As we continue to re-imagine how the world transacts, you will drive transformational improvements in the accessibility and utility of our products, and you will play a part in defining what the future of finance looks like.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- You will lead and influence product design across the full spectrum of our retail product offering: Explorer, Wallet and Brokerage, Exchange.
- Build and grow an industry-leading brand, working collaboratively with other designers as well as bringing your own innovative designs to life.
- Work across all facets of design: ideation, research, wireframing, visual design, interaction design, and prototyping.
- Partner with engineering, product, strategy, and others to define and drive product strategy.
- Understand the technical limitations and liberties behind decisions and have the skill to communicate rational design decisions to major stakeholders.
- Understand the nuances of designing for web and mobile (iOS/Android)
- Make rational design decisions that can be clearly articulated.
- Refine your work through rigorous iteration.

**WHAT YOU WILL NEED**:

- Deep knowledge of Web3 and crypto platforms (ideally you have worked for and/or tested many)
- More than 5 years of experience specifically designing consumer experiences (and ideally 3 years in the Web3 space)
- The foremost quality for this or any position at Blockchain is integrity.
- Designed and shipped consumer facing web and mobile products.
- Strong visual (UI) and interaction (UX) design skills as well as strong written communication.
- You pride yourself on delivering simple solutions to complex problems.
- You have designed and shipped B2C web products or mobile apps.
- You know that a highly refined aesthetic feel requires research and multiple iterations. As part of that, you're able to accept feedback and make rational decisions.
- You work independently, reliably and collaboratively.
- You can maintain and extend a world-class brand.
