The _Application Engineer - Prepress_ is responsible for_ being the customer's advocate internally & an Esko advocate externally - ensurring an effortless onboarding software experience - and will be based in France or Belgium._

**In this role, a typical day will look like**:

- After a quick alignement with the customer's IT department, you will install the software and then train the users, developing configurations and workflows tailored to their needs..
- You have excellent listening skills and the ability to interpret customer needs and manage customer expectations.
- You'll use a proactive approach to problem-solving and your analytical mindset.
- You love to learn, plugging in to the latest trends and mastering the newest technologies
- Willingness to travel (up to an average of 70% of traveling, depending on customer's needs, including spending on average 30% ot the time away form home.

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design (or similar)
- Background in PrePress - 3 or more years experience
- Knowledge IT Basics
- Strong analytical skills, quick learner and expert troubleshooter
- Ability to travel 60-70%% of the time by airplane or vehicle
- Fluency in English, good in French and or Dutch
