You have 3 to 5 years experience in a project management role (ideally in distribution, retail, logistics or similar).

You know how to use the analysis tools and evaluation methods at your disposal to prepare and enhance the projects you are in charge of. You also have experience in implementing medium and long term strategies and plans, in the context of the successful management of projects or processes.

You have strong analytical skills to translate business and customer needs into development initiatives.

You have a good understanding of the logistics processes of a distribution unit and/or an excellent knowledge of IKEA logistics processes.

You are able to build relationships across the organization and are able to influence and impact through your communication skills.

You are result oriented from start to finish.

What you'll be doing day to day

As a Logistics Project Manager, your objective is to be the expert and take responsibility for the implementation of projects for the Logistics Distribution function.

Your role will be to:

- Prepare the distribution logistics projects that will support the company's growth, identifying the necessary prerequisites, evaluating the complete implementation schedule, budget, stakeholders, decision and validation steps.
- Communicate regularly on the progress of projects and ensure compliance with the investment approval process at Ikea.
- Actively lead projects and manage the resulting change, act as an internal consultant within the customer fulfillment organization and ensure the transfer of project closure skills.
- Monitor the project and measure the actual performance of investments.

You will be in charge of:

- Implementing the group's logistics development programs in France, as well as specific national projects,
- Coordinate all the preparation of these projects and secure the validation of investments related to these projects
- Lead the implementation of the project by guiding all parties involved: cross-functional project management, taking into account the impact on processes and customer experience.
- Oversee communication and change management to ensure buy-in and support from those involved in the implementation.
- Manage and ensure knowledge transfer within the business and logistics teams and to other stakeholders, documenting the project and organizing knowledge transfer sessions
- Manage the project portfolio in accordance with the prioritization criteria defined by the management team.
- Clarify and ensure the necessary prerequisites, including correct data for the budget and business plan at country and business unit level
- Perform risk and gap analysis and take risk mitigation actions.
- Continuously monitor the progress of projects against budget and targets, inform stakeholders and take appropriate action
- Responsible for leading, coaching and developing the project organization and ensuring an inspiring and motivating environment where people and talent are continuously developed, including long-term skill building and succession planning, diversity and inclusion.

Contribute with your knowledge and expertise to the optimization of operational and multi-channel development, both at national and group level by contributing to the matrix network of logistics project managers and leveraging the exchange of information on projects.
