**[STAGE] Travel trade communication & market development assistant - Visit Norway**:
Do you want to gain competence in destination marketing? Then look here Our Visit Norway office in Paris is looking for an intern to assist in the promotion of Norway toward French tour operators and travel agencies.

**Missions**:
Innovation Norway is the Norwegian government’s most important instrument for innovation and business development. Innovation Norway helps Norwegian companies to grow sustainably and increase exports by providing access to competence, capital and networks. With offices in all regions of Norway and 23 countries, we connect Norwegian solutions with international markets and partners - and vice versa. The travel and tourism department within Innovation Norway, Visit Norway, works to promote a nationwide tourist and tourism development throughout the whole country.
The mission of Visit Norway Paris is to promote Norway as a tourism destination towards the French Travel Trade in accordance with the Norway National Tourism Strategy, where sustainable tourism is at the core. As part of our activities, we organize workshops, events, fam trips, and destination presentations. Equally important is regular mapping and contact with relevant tour operators for Norway as a destination and connecting the French travel trade to Norwegian suppliers.
We are looking for a motivated, independent and service-minded young professional who is interested in learning more about the tasks of a National Tourist Board abroad, with focus within B2B tourism.

**Profil**:

- Enrolled in bachelor or master program within tourism, where internship is part of the program
- A previous internship in a tour operator company or within a destination management organization is appreciated, as is other relevant experience

Skills & Qualities:

- Excellent verbal and written skills in English and French. Knowledge of a Scandinavian language is a bonus, but not a requirement
- Ability to work with deadlines and to deliver within demanding timescales
- Basic digital marketing and communication skills
- Autonomous and curious
- Interested in Norway and Norwegian culture

**Conditions**:

- Internship based in Paris
- Duration: 6 months, starting in March or April 2024
- Working hours and compensation according to French legal standards (monthly internship gratification equaling 15% of the social security hourly rate (in 2024 EUR 4,35 / hour)
- The internship may include some travel and flexible hours
- Lunch-tickets during workdays
- Reimbursement 50% of the monthly transport card for Paris
- Reimbursement of the monthly phone subscription during the internship period
